Anika, a young journalist, is the kind of girl that always dated the fat and ugly guys in school. A staunch do-gooder, if she knew a meteor was going to destroy the planet tomorrow, she would rush out to plant one more tree today. Her opposite-minded colleague Carlo, a former top journalist, is a cynical pessimist to the core.

Anika’s goal is to re-ignite Carlo’s submerged idealism, while he on the other hand wants nothing more than to keep the world at bay with another bottle of single malt whiskey…
Together they write a newspaper column, which Anika calls “brilliant” while Carlo’s sentiments are more like “so what, let’s just do it”. Ironically, it’s a column that confronts the madness of daily life…
