Family Entertainment at its best: The thrilling remake of the Oscar Wilde classic. The lead role is a computer-generated spirit that haunts the halls of the eerie castle.

10 year-old Paul is an average but timid boy, subject to the typical fears of most kids his age. His overprotective mother Mona, believing Paul to be disturbed, sends him off to a psychotherapist. But it’s not only Paul that has a problem…his sister Nele also has her own troubles. When Mona suggests a family therapy, Paul’s workaholic father Jochen decides to surprise the family with a “therapeutic” vacation at a Scottish medieval castle… but not without ulterior motives.

Unknown to his family, the castle is an investment project of his company, and he, as the architect, must make a visit anyway. The castle has its own secrets – it is haunted by the old spirit of Sir Simon.

After getting over his initial fear, Paul makes friends with the old ghost. Sir Simon seems to be an outsider, exactly like Paul.


Legend has it that Sir Simon killed his great love Flora, which doomed him to forever walk the halls of this eerie castle. Nobody seems to fear him, which disturbs Sir Simon a great deal. He is now pretty bummed out that the castle is going to be sold, and Paul wants to help his friend out of his blue mood any way he can.

Unable to believe the legend that Sir Simon actually killed his great love, Paul determinedly sets out to find the truth. His goal is to free the ghost of Sir Simon from his earthly prison, but to do that he must first free himself from his own fear…
