Golden Camera Winner 07: Corinna Harfouch as "Best German Actress"

Chief Inspector Eva Blond is confronted with the most baffling case: Six year-old Laura is found dead in a kindergarten’s playground. Her body is covered with terrible bruises – which forensics prove were there before the murder. In the course of their investigation, Eva and her partner Alyans discover that the Youth Welfare Office had already questioned the girl’s parents about the abuse.

The evidence against the father is overwhelming and he is arrested for the murder of his daughter. A bewildering piece of the puzzle is still unsolved. Where is the little black puppet that always accompanied the child? Why did she call the puppet “The Dark Man”, and why is the figure, with its army cap, in every picture she painted?

The mystery only deepens when Eva learns that the same puzzling figure appears in all of the paintings of Laura’s classmates after her disappearance…
