Christmas is coming, but the Wagner’s home is hardly filled with a merry holiday spirit. Little Jacob’s parents, Robert and Katherina, are both buried in work and have little time for their 7 year-old son. So Jacob spends most of his time with his friend Maxie and her grandfather Willi, who tends to them both with warmth and affection. No wonder then that instead of the usual kid’s Christmas wish of a toy train or a computer, Jacob, more than anything else, simply wants a Grandpa of his own.
