Military Academy

Finally done with high school, the very last thing Basti now wants to do is join the army. So when he’s drafted and ordered to report for a physical, he’s prepared with a number of wild excuses as to why he can’t serve…

But none of his silly excuses get him off the hook, and panic is slowly setting in. But then in a stroke of last-minute luck, he meets Schleifer, who’s found a way to beat the system – he’s going to give the military doctors a urine sample from his diabetic girlfriend, which will surely result in a rejection. Convinced that it’s a great idea, Basti submits the sample as his own.

The thrill of knowing that they won’t have to join the army instantly disintegrates when the doctor, wearing a sarcastic grin, delivers his verdict: “Congratulations gentlemen, you both have diabetes and are both pregnant!”

At this point, even his conscientious objector status won’t help and the devastated Basti is sent off to the barracks… and boot camp.

The military madness becomes at least somewhat bearable when Basti makes some wild and crazy friends, with whom he takes the oath: One for all and all for one! They create nothing but major trouble at the base, until their prankster-like behavior backfires and they are ordered to take part in friendly military exercises against the hardened U.S. soldiers from the neighboring barracks.

Forced to defend their friendship, the major’s favorite tank and most importantly, the honor of the entire German Army, Basti and his troublemaking friends now have the chance to become genuine heroes…
