Rose d'Or 2006

The Rose d'Or, the festival for entertainment television programming, was created in 1961. The Golden Roses awards are highly prestigious television prizes which are given out in spring each year.


This year 335 programs from 32 countries entered the Rose d'Or Competition. 105 programs were selected in the categories Comedy, Variety, Sitcom, Reality, Soap, Music, Arts & Specials and Game Show.

Nominated programs came from all over the world including USA, Australia, South America, Japan, Canada, Korea, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, and New Zealand.

The winners were announced during the Award Ceremony in Lucerne on April, 29.
