Santas in the Barn

It's late at night on December 1st. and 24 days remain until Christmas Eve.

24 people meet deep inside the Norwegian forest to participate in the ultimate Christmas countdown reality show: To live like Santas for 24 days inside a barn, with one Santa being voted out every night by his peers. The one who is still in the barn when Christmas Eve finally arrives is honored as the "Best Santa" and wins a sack stuffed with one million Euros.

The very first night, the rules are presented to the contestants: They must wear a long beard and a red frock 24 hours a day. They must organize themselves into two teams that will compete in the daily “Santafight”.

And most importantly, as long as they are in the barn, they are only allowed porridge, candy and mulled wine for nourishment. As the show develops, the Santafight is where the physical action takes place. The losing team must rid the barn of one of their Santas, thus, the tension is high during the “Chimney Climb Competition”, the “Gift Wrapper Challenge” or whatever the “Fight of the Day” may be.

While the winners are given certain benefits such as real alcohol in their mulled wine, the losers must gather at “The Barnliament” to send off one of their teammates by casting a vote written on a Gingerbread Heart.

As difficult as the physical challenges are, they pale in comparison to the mental stress and conflicts experienced by the handpicked competitors.

If you think old school reality shows unleashed nutty personalities, wait and see what happens in this hilarious mockudrama when 24 people dress up like Santas and live together in the same little barn on a dubious diet for an entire month!
