For a 28 year-old Turkish guy named Attila, life is about money, chicks, fame and fortune, and above all, “Respect”… or at least he’d like it to be. The reality is, however, that Attila runs a dive of a restaurant in a multi-cultural Berlin neighborhood and is the impromptu leader of bizarre gang of misfits.

There’s his best friend Hakan, who dreams of becoming a rock star, and his waiter Ron, who has this crazy plan of opening an ethnic German fast-food operation.

For some strange reason, maybe call it simply luck, Attila’s girlfriend Tanja is willing to put up with all the trouble that he and his buddies cause. But then again, maybe it’s exactly that madness that keeps her together with this crazy, boyish and affectionate guy. Some might see Attila as a loser, but he knows, deep in his heart, that he is truly a king…
