The Crows

A number of crows that have been specially bred for scientific study escape after a traffic accident. Unknown to Berlin and the surrounding areas, a horror has been unleashed upon them that will soon have millions of people battling for their very lives…







The young vet Alexandra is the only one who recognizes the warning signs, and she alone must try to avert the approaching disaster.

Alexandra’s heroic efforts face an uphill battle – she and her husband are in the middle of moving, she is six months pregnant, and nobody is taking her dire warnings seriously.




Unwilling to believe, they find it much easier to discount her “hysteria” as being a result of her “condition”.

She has to face opposition not only from other “nest-builders”, the dangerous crows themselves, but also from ignorant authorities, bewildered friends and – at first – her extremely skeptical husband Marc. But Alex knows she has no choice.




Even when her already tense relationship with her husband seems perilously close to collapse, she has to continue trying to decipher the increasingly odd behavior of the large black birds in and around Berlin.








As the birds begin to mount more and more baffling attacks, Alex manages to break through a wall of silence that a certain group of scientists have built, a group that has several reasons for trying to prevent the truth concerning the special crows from being known.







It is not merely due to an obsessive ambition - if their questionable project succeeds, the financial rewards would be unlimited, so they are completely willing to accept a great loss of human life as “unfortunate necessity”.








The aggressive birds display an uncanny talent for organization, flocking together to form veritable flying armies. It’s not just individuals that are being attacked – with an eerie intelligence; the deadly crows are also targeting the population’s food supply.







Alex finally manages to track down the origins of the birds, but the 40 original crows have already begun to pass on their intelligence to countless others.

The authorities decide to deal with the danger by poisoning the birds – which could result in a truly catastrophic scenario...





Alexandra and her husband, who is now convinced of the peril, only have hours left to piece together the last elements of the puzzle, inform the authorities, and hopefully prevent a citywide tragedy.
