For the 19-year-old Katrin, entering college means the chance to finally escape her overly protective father and the home that had spawned such terrible memories. She enthusiastically moves into a run-down boarding house, unconcerned with the vague rumors regarding Annika, her room’s previous tenant, who had vanished without a trace one year ago…

Katrin soon connects with a clique of older students. After a drug-filled night that ends in Christian’s bed, she is suddenly beset by terrifying visions, and subsequently taunted by the other students – especially Christian’s jealous girlfriend Sanne.







Katrin discovers Annika’s video diary and becomes convinced Christian and his friends had something to do with her disappearance, and Annika's spirit has returned seeking revenge.

But when Christian meets a horrible death, Sanne and all his friends believe Katrin had murdered him. They have learned that since her mother’s traumatic suicide, Katrin has been taking psychoactive drugs...

Katrin feels a growing connection with Annika’s ghost, but becomes fearful that she is destined to suffer the same fate. After Sanne and another student are also killed in bizarre accidents, Katrin anxiously goes to the police.

Her story of a vengeful spirit falls on disbelieving ears and her father is summoned to bring her home – but it appears Annika has come with her. When her father also dies under mysterious circumstances, it finally dawns on Katrin that Annika was not simply the innocent victim of an evil clique of students...
