The jobless male orderly Noah Becker is witness to a car accident. He doesn’t hesitate to pull the wounded Luis Kramar from the wreckage and administer first aid, but at the same time has no qualms about stealing the man’s wallet. After calling an ambulance, he quickly leaves the scene.
Luis is taken to the hospital, where it is quickly determined that he has amnesia…no memory, and no identity. The hospital’s head of neurology, Dr. Katharina Trapp, is taking personal charge of the patient when the police show up to talk to him. The car he had crashed was stolen – and its owner was Dr. Trapp! Coincidence?
Meanwhile, Noah, hoping to find some more valuables, has gained access to Luis Kramar’s hotel room. There he is shocked to find documents that paint a disturbing picture. Kramar has been following and observing him – he’s even tried to anonymously contact him! Noah is puzzled, but his confusion quickly turns to fear when he discovers the gun…
Noah has to find out who Kramar is. And so does Luis Kramar. When Noah “abducts” him from the hospital in a daring operation, the two set off on a dangerous but illuminating voyage into Luis’ past…
