The married couples Monika and Helmut, Sabine and Georg, and Nicole and Frank have been close friends for many years. They all lead respectable lives and live in the same neighborhood. But when Georg loses his courier job because of a stupid mistake and is unable to make his payments, the lives of all six are set to undergo a radical change…




His back against the wall, Georg desperately wracks his brain for ways to come up with some easy money. Why not simply break into the local home improvement store’s safe? He anyway has a score to settle with the shop’s manager.







His brother Frank thinks the plan is insane, but out of brotherly support pledges his participation in the crazy scheme. The money would surely come in handy to help smooth out his rocky marriage, which has lately become quite an emotional rollercoaster ride because of his and Nicole’s inability to have children.





Then the team finally reaches its full strength when Helmut, driven by his characteristic passion for thrills and adventure, announces that he also wants to take part in the mission. Helmut has always been drawn to such adrenaline-pumping challenges as bungee jumping, free climbing and parachuting – so why not a robbery?





Despite all of their relative inexperience in this particular profession, the theft surprisingly goes off without a hitch – leaving the three friends sitting pretty with € 500.000. But now what? The robbery has taken its toll on their nerves, and worse yet, their curious wives are beginning to notice that something quite odd is going on with their husbands…
