It’s the summer of 1981, and the long school holiday is soon to begin. For the 11 year-old Jan, that leaves precious little time for last minute adventures with his best buddies Stevie and Basti before he must leave the countryside with his parents for the big city. There’s still time, though, to explore that mysterious old villa. Inside, their eyes widen with the discovery of a cryptic treasure map that had been left there in the 70’s by the White Falcons, a legendary kid’s gang.
It’s well known that 10 years after the gang broke up, their leader mysteriously vanished. Could his disappearance be in any way connected to the secret cave indicated on the map? What, anyway, IS the “Treasure of the White Falcons”?
With a rival gang led by the violent Marie breathing down their necks, Jan, Stevie and Basti set out on the summer’s last big adventure. Investigating the dark and hidden secrets they unearth bonds the three friends forever. Facing their worst fears, their quest sees them electrifying a fishpond, almost blowing up an old weapons cache and putting their friendship…and themselves, in danger.
But what a finale to a perfect summer! Jan has narrowly escaped death and even kissed a girl. The toughest challenge, however, still awaits the daring young hero - bidding his brave comrades Stevie and Basti farewell…
