Let's Dance!

Romantic Comedy | Movie, 1 x 90'

Leo is a passionate dance instructor who wins the hearts of all of his female pupils, although he’s unwilling to give anything in return. Then one day, after his female boss has just comforted Rebecca, yet another dance pupil with a broken heart, she decides to punish the dance teacher. It’s time for Leo to grow up…

After losing his beloved job, Leo struggles to pay all of his bills. The only job that is currently listed for a dance teacher is at Ludwig’s Dancing School, but unfortunately the ad specifically calls for an elderly female dance teacher!

With absolutely nothing to lose, Leo decides to go for it. Swallowing his pride, he asks a friend who is a make-up artist to help him transform into “Leonore” and he applies for the job at the dance school. Sure enough, “her” determination and charm quickly win over both the school’s owner, Paul Ludwig, and Sandra Schmidt, the studio’s bartender and housekeeper.

Sandra, a sweet-natured single mother with a nine-year-old daughter, is secretly in love with the good-looking dance teacher Marco, although he hardly notices her. Sandra would love to be Marco’s dance partner for the upcoming dance competition, but her boss would never allow it. Anyway, it turns out that Marco already has a partner, one who Leo is horrified to see - it’s Rebecca, his ex-girlfriend…

When Sandra learns that “Leonore” has been having problems with “her” landlord and is currently homeless, she offers the older lady a place to stay. Sandra’s daughter Bille isn’t thrilled with the situation and tries to persuade her mother that something isn’t right about their new housemate.

Sandra, though, has taken the older woman to heart, seeing her as an intimate friend in whom she can confide. When Leo observes how well Sandra dances, he comes up with an idea.

He decides to start his own dance studio and win the upcoming dance competition with Sandra as his partner.

To that end, “Leonore” tells Sandra about her twin brother Leo, who is opening his own dance school, and also promises to help her win Marco’s heart. But when Marco finally does show an interest in Sandra, Leo reacts with jealousy – he’s come to realize that what he feels for Sandra is far more than mere friendship…
