That is, until he is assigned to the Angel family. At first glance it’s an easy job, almost beneath such an experienced fiend as Lou. The Angels lead a boring life in an idyllic suburban home. 
Father Rainer is a bland insurance salesman who’s a bit too much of a goody-goody and mother Karin has accepted her unfulfilling life working as an accountant and bringing up the two well-behaved children Marc and Stella.
But the simple task turns into a major headache for Lou, as he tries to corrupt the unassuming family. Somehow they are surprisingly resistant to his temptations of wealth, love and power. At the same time, Lou begins to take a liking to life on Earth and especially to Karin’s sister Nicoletta. If only she would truly love him… only someone who really loves him will be able to free him from hell and turn him into a human being.
But then his boss sends another one of his minions to do the job. Lou’s sly and malicious colleague Carlo renews the offer to Angel’s innocent souls. At the same time Rainer is kicked out from the insurance company and out of despair closes the devilish deal with Carlo. Now a turbulent struggle for their souls breaks out, with Lou’s only chance for redemption quickly slipping away…
