Floor Faber

The series is based on Floor Faber’s diary: For over 14 years, she has been penning the most widely read column in the Dutch women’s magazine Viva.

The 27-year-old, slightly neurotic Floor Faber leads a chaotic life. She is looking for the love of her life, at least she says so. Deep in her heart though, she actually fears meeting her Knight in Shining Armor, because that would put a most unwelcome end to her wild, adventurous and freewheeling lifestyle – probably even dooming her to a boring, settled life in horrible suburbia!












Floor shares a small two-room apartment in Amsterdam with her cat Otje and manages to endure her extremely dull job at the office of an insurance company. She has just broken off a 2-year relationship with Erik – it simply lacked any sense of excitement.







Floor is a bit of a bookworm and likes to hang out in cafés discussing life’s major issues with her friends. Whenever she can scrape together the money, Floor buys fashionable clothing. But truth be told, Floor is also insecure, clumsy, pretty hung-up and lacking any real ambition.






She is constantly in fear that life is passing her by: where is her career going; what happened to romance and will she ever have children?
