“Old & Crazy” is the first sketch comedy show that proves there’s far more to the golden years than dentures, stair lifts and endless aches and pains. All seniors enjoy life, luxury and sports; they’re witty and far from being anybody’s fool.
“Old & Crazy” doesn’t make fun of the infirm or the weak; it instead shows just how funny the everyday life of seniors can be! The trendy and believable sketches portraying the hilarious characters are offered in short and snappy high-quality scenes.
Five key characters play a variety of roles, from a frail grandmother to a man-eating housewife, a grumpy old man or an aging playboy. In 'Old & Crazy', the comedians prove that old does not mean old-fashioned, a pension doesn’t equal giving up the better things in life and that living in an old folk’s home is far from a prison sentence.
You’ll see a casting show for the elderly, in which the candidates are begging the jury to finally send them into retirement… or a hearse driving, curb-crawling funeral director trying to pick up somebody’s grandmother, or even 5 seniors playing hide and seek in a graveyard. Here, nothing is scared!
“Old & Crazy” is a hilarious comedy about all aspects of senior life. The experienced comedians are funny, charming and so sharp that the sketches leave the audience both surprised and amused at their fresh and clever portrayals of our “senior citizens”.
