Taken from a mix of regular and guest comedians, each of them is given an enormously tricky objective by the host. Their fun-filled challenge is to retain their composure while they set up deeply elaborate traps and surprising twists-and-turns to take their victims for the proverbial ride.

It’s sassy, biting and bad to the bone: the award-winning “TV Total” cult comedy show.
Comedy Show | Format

“TV Total”, through parody and satire, makes fun of the oddities and quirks ever-present in the world of the media. Funny and unusual clips of embarrassing verbal slip-ups and mishaps have been an integral part of the show from the very beginning. Nothing remains hidden from the sharp eyes of the host!
And because of the love affair TV has with awards, every week he creatively comes up with a new honor to bestow, with titles such as “The Shocker”, “The Scandal” or the “Greatest Clip of the Week”, which are voted on by the mischievous studio audience. He also makes short work of the latest headline news – there’s a doctor’s strike? He’ll whip up his own dentist practice right in the studio!
“TV Total” is TV totally different. Even the host’s desk is not a desk - it’s more like a magic carpet, sliding all around the studio to pick up guests or to have a quick chat with his band. Bristling with high-tech capabilities, the host’s desk acts as his private, multi-functional effect mixer.
The “nipples” are small switches on the desk. Once pressed, a short clip of some slip of the tongue or weird facial expression made by a celebrity or TV show audience member begins, sliding right into the context of the present interview or theme, or simply as a tossed in comment.
This hilarious comedy show is enriched by its many innovative games and entertainment elements: In its ”Host in Danger” feature, a highlight in TV history, the host frequently puts himself into real or seemingly life threatening situations, like blocking the drive through at McDonalds – for an entire day.
It could also be something really hairy such as a gut-wrenching ski jump or holding on to a helicopter skid! In “Fool or Fortune”, a member of the audience can walk away with a prize if he can outsmart the host in a general knowledge quiz.
Of course the host has his own personal slave, aka “show trainee” who doesn’t mind cleaning the studio. He’s used for all the dirty work that the host considers himself too good for.
The show trainee also plays his own games like “Doorbell Bingo”, where he wakes up sleepy residents in the middle of the night, or “The Show Trainee Gambles”, where he gambles with people on the street. All established games are expandable anytime and new features are constantly developed.
“TV Total” is like a children’s birthday party for grown ups: bright, vibrant and witty…it’s a hilarious potpourri full of crazy ideas. The host constantly comes up with new and exciting schemes and stunts: He’ll turn the studio into a dog sledding obstacle course, or have a windsurfing champion teach him how to surf in a wading pool.
Every show is different, absolutely unique, and provides the audience with the kind of entertainment they’ve never seen before!
“TV Total”: where craziness has no limits and the absurd and mischievous feel quite at home.
