Countess wanted
Dating Show | Format
Every woman dreams of finding her very own Prince Charming, and now that dream is finally within reach. In the one-hour dating show “Countess Wanted”, four blue-blooded bachelors are searching for their perfect princess.
They all boast ancient and noble bloodlines, live in stately manors and lead a fairytale life. They have challenging jobs and exclusive hobbies, but it’s only that perfect fair maiden by their side that will give them the happiness they long for.
What’s the use of having 5 bedrooms if you are sleeping alone? For the potential countess, the road to the castle is long and winding. First, the noblemen carefully go through all the letters, pictures and videos they have received from aspiring gentlewomen from throughout the country.
Every nobleman chooses up to 10 candidates for a speed-dating round: the ladies have just 10 minutes to make the right impression and be selected for a personal rendezvous.
After the speed-dating, each of the noblemen can invite one or two women to spend a couple of days at his house. Ultimately, he decides if this is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
At the manor, the flirting is on and the stakes are high. Can the aspiring countess convince the nobleman that she is the right one for him? After all, it takes far more than good looks to be welcomed into a blue-blooded family. Will she be up to the challenge?
Whether romantic candlelight dinners, horseback rides or gardening, everything counts in the game of love. Will she get along with the house servants? Will his friends like her? These are just a few of the questions that need answers before our prince’s heart is won.
To ensure the happily-ever-after, the host offers help and advice to the ladies and accompanies the noblemen as they seek out their one true love.
