The King of Crafts

A relic from childhood becomes the show spectacle of the year! 3 celebrities pairs compete against each other and are judged by the toughest jury in the world: children!

In each episode, the 3 celebrity duos are charged with the tasks of paper folding, gluing, hammering, sawing and drilling. The results are examined by a ruthless team of experts: two children who are backed up by a comedian. But to win the title of “The King of Crafts”, appearances are not enough.

After the jury’s first decision weeds out the ugliest exhibit, the remaining 2 are tested for functionality. Which clay vase will hold the most water? Which birdhouse will be more inviting to a canary?

Every show has 7 rounds, consisting of 6 preliminary contests and 1 final round. In each round, the celebrity teams simultaneously undertake the same task, for example creating a sock puppet in 3 minutes.

The jury then assesses the results, with each member voting against the team whose work they like the least. After receiving 2 negative reviews, 1 team is eliminated, leaving 2 teams competing to win the round. In the example of the sock puppet, the 2 teams must spontaneously perform a 1-minute stand-up number.

Whoever receives the most applause wins the round and is awarded 2 points, with both the second place team and the eliminated team receiving 1 point. The winning team receives € 25,000 for a good cause!
