“Funny Farm” is an outrageous, fast-paced competition that sees 10 city slickers suddenly mired in a crazy series of farm-inspired challenges where they will compete for a cash prize.
Like fish out of water, the 10 big-city contestants – who could barely tell the difference between a sheep and a goat – will leave their slick and urban lives behind in order to brave a larger-than-life farm designed to run them through mud, gigantic obstacles and motorized beasts.
“Funny Farm” consists of a series of rotating games involving regular farm themes – shearing sheep, harvesting fruit and milking cows – which are exploded into giant and wacky tasks involving mechanical bulls, electrified trees, and oversized udders. At the end, only 1 will finally stand triumphant!
Each episode begins with a spectacular game designed to ensure that the participants take a fall, giving the audience a taste of what is to come – either the contestants continually slip and fall face-first into the mud… or they rise to the challenges. 
In the “Rooster Rescue”, they have to save the rooster from the dung heap; in “Shear Madness”, sheep riding is combined with sheep shearing. Then there are the “Horrible Hay Bale” and “The Apple Grapple” challenges, which are even more difficult than they sound!
After each round, the candidate with the worst performance will be eliminated.
The final game – “The Shudder Udder” – pits the last 2 players against each other in a duel of hilarious proportions. To reach this point they have gone through hell, plummeting off obstacles, crawling through mud and showing their true grit. But now, to the delight of the audience, comes the moment of truth – who can cling to their giant udder the longest? Whoever hangs on wins the cash and the glory!
